What Golf Coach Pro is

  • Is Golf Coach Pro just booking software?

    No. Booking is one part of it. Golf Coach Pro combines a branded coaching website, booking, payments, lesson packages, student portals, coach workflows, CRM, progress tracking, and CMS-managed content under one platform.

  • Can Golf Coach Pro replace my current website?

    Yes. For most coaches and academies, Golf Coach Pro can act as the public website and the business system behind it. There is no need to keep an old WordPress site running on the side.

  • Does it support multiple coaches?

    Yes. Golf Coach Pro is built for both independent coaches and multi-coach academy workflows, with academy-level admin, coach availability, and shared student records.

How students experience it

  • Can students book online?

    Yes. Students can view lessons, choose offerings, submit details, and book online through your branded site, with payment handled through Stripe.

  • Can I sell packages?

    Yes. Golf Coach Pro supports lesson packages and coaching offers, depending on the setup configured for your business.

  • Can students track progress?

    Yes. Student portals, session notes, session history, reports, and coaching records can be part of the configured platform on the Coach Pro and Academy tiers.

  • Does it support launch monitor workflows?

    Not as a native device sync today. Golf Coach Pro supports launch-monitor-informed workflows through manual metric capture and compatible file upload parsing for supported CSV/JSON/TXT formats. Vendor export compatibility is checked during setup.

Hosting, domain & fees

  • Is hosting included?

    Hosting is not included by default. Most customers pay their hosting provider directly, such as DigitalOcean or another approved cloud provider. Golf Coach Pro can help configure the hosting environment during setup depending on the selected package.

  • How much does hosting usually cost?

    Hosting depends on traffic, setup, and selected provider. Many coaching businesses can start with an affordable VPS or cloud hosting plan, then scale as needed. Hosting is usually a small line item compared to the value of running the coaching business.

  • Do I own my domain and hosting account?

    Yes. The recommended setup is that the customer owns their domain and hosting account. Golf Coach Pro configures the platform to run on that infrastructure unless a separate managed hosting agreement is chosen.

  • Are Stripe fees included?

    No. Stripe payment processing fees are charged separately by Stripe and are not included in Golf Coach Pro licensing. Stripe sets its own rates for online card payments.

  • Can Golf Coach Pro manage hosting for me?

    Yes. A managed hosting option can be offered separately, priced as a separate monthly managed infrastructure plan. See the pricing page for current managed hosting tiers.
